About Us

The High Flyers Flyball Teams established in September 2007 by a group of flyball friends. The team is based and trains in Stevenage, Hertfordshire and is a BFA registered club. Although we are a fairly new team we have a lot of flyball experience in handling and training as many members started off with another local team before forming High Flyers. We are a determined group of people who train our dogs to the best of their ability and enjoy competing and having fun.

We have many members from all age groups of which some train just for fun and others compete in sanctioned open tournaments. We run several teams which we distinguish under the High Flyers banner. High Flyers, High Drive,High Tempo, High Impact, High Pressureand our mulibreed team High Variety.

2008 was a great and successful year for the High Flyers. During the year we managed to run three open teams who ran regularly at tournaments. They all smashed their previous records and High Flyers even managed to become top seeds in August, running a 17.13 at Eastham over 14 inches! But the success didn't stop there. All three teams went to the British Championships and all ran superbly. High Velocity came 2nd in division 21, High Voltage managed to win division 6 and High Flyers became British Champions by winning division 1! To top it all off, the team was filmed and appeared on BBCs The One Show at the end of August.
